In life, not much is handed to you on a plate.

Relationships, business, friendships, family, homes - all take work. The day you give up, stop trying and do nothing is the day it all starts to fall apart.

If you never ever clean your house you won’t have a clean house.

If you don’t ever bother to show your husband that you love him then you wont have a husband for long.

If you only phone your friends when you want something then they probably wont answer.

Be the person who gets up every day and gives 100%

Be the person who makes the money. Who loves their family. Who cleans their house. Who gives their best every minute of the day.

When Cameron was born Wayne and I had a conversation about why we had to buy a brand new cot mattress. Brooke had only slept in it for a few months, it was almost brand new.

The way I saw it, I wanted to be able to look in the mirror and know that I had done 100% my best. If anything terrible happened I didn’t want to be the person who looked in the mirror and knew that we’d been cheap and decided not to buy a new mattress.

And that carries on for me now. I want to be the person who looks in the mirror and knows they did everything they possibly could, and then if something works then great and if not then I move on.

I don’t always get it right, I’m learning every day.

But I know I do my best and I know that is good enough.

I’m really excited to have welcomed 4 new mastermind people to my group this last 10 days.
